LOCATION:  On the eastern coast of Mauritius in the coastal village of Belle Mare, 50 minutes from Plaisance airport and 45 minutes to the capital of Port Louis. 

 

ACCOMMODATION: 163 rooms and suites in 7 categories. Colonial Garden view rooms (54sqm), Colonial Ocean view rooms (56sqm), Colonial Ocean Front rooms (58sqm), Colonial Ocean Front Suites (116sqm), Colonial Ocean View Suites (164sqm), Colonial Garden View Senior Suites (106sqm) and Colonial Garden View Junior Suites (86sqm).

All rooms and suites are tastefully furnished in cream colours, are en-suite with separate bath and shower and feature air-conditioning, satellite LCD television, internet access, CD/DVD player, telephone, safe, minibar, tea and coffee facilities, hairdryer, sound system in the bathroom and are complimented by a private butler service. In addition the suites feature a Bose sound system in the living room, complimentary internet access with computer at disposal, ‘La Prairie’ amenities and a four-poster bed (except Junior Suites). 

 

Colonial Ocean Front Room

 

RESTAURANTS / BARS: The Dining Room serves buffet breakfast each morning and á la carte menu in the evening. The Verandah opens for lunch each day from noon until 3pm and serves a selection of light snacks and salads overlooking the pool area. The Plantation opens for lunch and dinner and serves local Mauritian and seafood specialities. 

 

RECREATION: Swimming pool, water skiing, hobie cat, kids club for ages 3 – 12 years, windsurfing, kayaks, pedalos, glass bottom boat, snorkelling, 3 floodlit tennis courts, aerobics and volleyball. The hotel also has a dive centre and the wonderful ‘Sanctuary’ Spa that offers a choice of massage treatments and La Prairie skincare treatments.
