Serengeti Bushtops

 

Serengeti Bushtops is located in the extreme North of the Serengeti, Northern Tanzania. Serengeti Bushtops is a stylish, permanent tented camp, situated in the Wogakuria area, close to the Mara River. Between June and November this is usually one of the best areas to catch a glimpse of a dramatic wildebeest river crossing. The camp is set over a large area with only 13 tents. It's a 1km walk from the first tent to the last tent, providing an unparalleled sensation of privacy and isolation.

 

The camp comprises 12 very large and luxurious tented rooms, which can take 2 adults and 2 children. The tented rooms are all named after African animals and are essentially identical in style and design. Tents are raised on vast wooden decks with a veranda wrapping round two sides. Each deck is furnished with a table and a sunken seating area with plenty of cushioned benches and a hot tub. Inside the tent, there is a large bed covered by a mosquito net and flanked by bedside tables. Each room has a phone which allows guests to call between tents or to reception. Tents have a writing desk with various guidebooks, a large wooden closet with plenty of hanging space, and an electronic safe. Set to one side is the bathroom area with a large ceramic sink, a mirror, a hairdryer and toiletries. A canvas curtain separates the flush toilet from the rest of the facilities, and a huge rain-shower is open to the decking overlooking the hot tub. Rooms are incredibly spacious and certainly some of the most private.

 

 

Day 01

Morning transfer to Arusha Airport for a scheduled flight to Kogatende Airstrip (flight booked by Ranger Safaris).  The flight departs at 0800 and arrives at 0955.  On arrival, you are met by the camp’s driver and proceed by road to the camp.

You have a chance to relax and settle in at the camp.  After lunch, you participate in a scheduled shared game drive in Serengeti National Park.  Dinner and overnight at the camp with soft drinks, coffee, tea, bottled water, juices, house wine, domestic beer and non-premium local spirits included.

Day 02

You participate in morning and afternoon scheduled shared game drive in Serengeti National Park with meals and overnight at the camp with soft drinks, coffee, tea, bottled water, juices, house wine, domestic beer and non-premium local spirits included.

Day 03

You have a last chance to view the wildlife as you transfer to the airstrip.  You fly by scheduled flight back to Arusha (flight booked by Ranger Safaris).  The flight departs at 1000 and arrives at 1215.  You are met on arrival and transferred to Arusha Town Centre to connect to your onward arrangements
