Gold Zanzibar Beach House & Spa is located on the North West Coast of Zanzibar, the only part of the island not affected by the tides. The resort is a 50 minute drive from Zanzibar international Airport.

42 Deluxe Ocean view rooms are located on either the ground or first floor and offer wonderful view of the ocean. 10 Deluxe Garden Rooms are located on the ground floor overlooking the gardens. 12 Beach Suites are located directly on the beach, these rooms combine the luxury and comfort of a prime location. Ideal for beach-lovers wanting to take full advantage of the hotels spectacular beach. Beach suites with Pavillion are ideally facing the ocean with direct and easy access to the pool area and the beach, these suites have their own private pavillion with comfortable wooden sofa, chair and table. 

3 Luxury Villa Retreats are located on the beach one can choose between The African, The Arabian or The Italian. Each offers a large living room with a bathroom. The bedroom has a king sized bed with wardrobe area and "sale de bains". Another room offers a separate bed with a bathroom. The exterior of the villa consists of a wide veranda and a spa tub and each villa has a private tent on the beach. To pamper guests in the retreat, a private butler service is guaranteed to satisfy every need.

 

Deluxe Room

 

All rooms offer air conditioning, ceiling fan, bathrooms with bath and separate shower, WC, hairdryer, sitting area, telephone, mini-bar, safe box, TV, tea and coffee making facilities.Suites and retreat also feature a dvd/cd player and Nespresso machine.

 

Kilimanjaro is the resorts main restaurant and offer Buffet Breakfast from 7.30am-10am. Dinner is a la carte with vegetables served from the buffet and opens from 8pm-9.30pm.

 

Gold Restaurant is the resorts a la carte beach restaurant with a focus on fresh fish and local spices. Dining is by reservation only and the restaurant opens from 7.30pm-9.30pm.

 

Sultan Bar is the resorts main bar and the best spot for sunset views. The bar opens from 7.30am until midnight and is the perfect spot for pre and post dinner cocktails.

 

Ocean Dhow is the resorts beach bar and serves light  meals and snacks during the day and sumptuous cold drinks and cocktails during the day. Open from 7.30am to midnight.

Healing Earth Spa is a balinese style village with 7 treatment rooms a jacuzzi and fully equipped gym.

 

Resort facilities include a swimming pool, shops, laundry service, complimentary wifi, a dive centre and watersports including catamaran, laser boat, windsurfing and kayaks.
